WHERE IS AURUM LOCATED?
AURUM is located inside the MDG Corporate 100 Building on Columbia 100 Parkway in Columbia, MD. We are conveniently located off MD-100 and Rte. 29, with close access to I-95.
You may enter the building from either the front or rear entrance, and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor (Suite 210)
If you have an appointment scheduled after hours, our team will reach out to you with the code you'll need to access the building.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR A FACIAL?
You will want to make sure to avoid scrubs, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), benzoyl peroxide, retinols, or any topical prescriptions at least 5 days prior to your appointment. Also, kindly avoid facial waxing or injectables within a week of your appointment.
I'M GETTING MARRIED -- WHEN SHOULD I BEGIN MY SKIN PREP?
Congratulations! We are always honored to support our brides during this most exciting season. We recommend starting your skincare plan at least 6 months before your wedding. This allows us to customize a treatment plan around your goals and build the perfect routine for you.
WHAT FACIALS ARE SAFE DURING PREGNANCY?
All of our facials can be customized to be pregnancy/nursing safe. We LOVE supporting our expecting mama's skin and will be sure to use gentle, yet effective products and techniques. Our clients typically receive monthly facials the duration of their pregnancy to support any skin fluctuations due to hormones.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO GET FACIALS?
Your skin is your body's largest organ, and it renews itself every 28 days. As we age, that timeframe lengthens. It's important to incorporate facials into your established self-care regimen to ensure total skin health. Our clients typically receive facials every 4-6 weeks.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We understand things happen, however we kindly request 24 hours notice for any cancellations or reschedules. Cancellations or reschedules made within the 24 hour window earn a $75 fee.
DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?
We operate by appointment only. We're happy to accommodate a same-day request if we have the availability. Please give us a call (410)935-4402.
For in-person shopping, please schedule a Private Shopping Appointment. We'd hate for you to stop by during a time we are closed or unavailable.
